is a professional digital photography and creative service provider for both the consumer and business markets.  I work hard to provide THE BEST photo capture and editing services in a timely manner at an affordable price point.  I am not the cheapest but if you're looking for high end quality then I might be your guy.  From a commercial standpoint, I have a sales and marketing background and my objective is to make your cash register sing, not sell you good pics.  I can be reached at:

We use genuine Nikon products including the very high resolution 36 and 37 MP Nikon D800 and D810 DSLR cameras.  I choose to use  Nikkor glass exclusively as it is superior to anything else.  Shooting in RAW (that's the best quality) and editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop are habits that the best of the best work at everyday.   My large gear bag includes several Nikkor f/1.4 and 1.8g prime portrait glass, ultra-wide 14-24mm, 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200 VRII, tilt-shift/perspective control, fisheye, and macro lenses for finer detail.  I suspect the collection adds up to about $20k just in lenses.   For architectural and Real Estate photography I use off camera flashes, HDR techniques, tilt-shift and ultra-wide glass and process wtih a combo of photoshop, photomatix pro and lightroom software.  I own ton of lights and light modifiers including umbrellas, softboxes, scrims, and flashes.  All of these are mobile  Most of my product photography is done in my home studio to control costs and save the client money.  My studio includes Paul Buff Einstein, Profoto and Bower flashes, large soft boxes and umbrellas with various colored seamless paper backgrounds.

I didn't go to Art School or have formal photography training.  That's pretty much the story of my life.  In my thirties I started a successful Supply Chain business selling to the Military and Aviation industry, sold it, retired at 40 and decided to learn how to own and drive a professional road racing team.  We did very well in a short amount of time due to a philosophy of benchmarking what the best were doing and modeling after them.  I had several employees, a big shop and a large 80 foot tractor trailer as big as a house with several cars, gear and sleeping quarters.  For about 7 years of my life  the team and I traveled all over N. America to race road courses.  Quite an exciting time with plenty of stories.  I sold off the team when my mother was stricken with cancer.  When mom passed I picked up a camera to cope with her passing.  Picking up the camera to cope w her death was a blessing in disguise.  My camera allowed me to get out of a depressive funk that had taken over my life when we lost mom.  I like to think this was a gift that she left me.

My better friends often say I can get pretty intense and that explains my very rapid photography learning curve.  When I want to learn something I jump in with both feet and learn as much as I can about a subject.  This has served me well in photography as the harder you strive the better the work product you can produce.  High end Real Estate and Architectural photography excite me as they are very technically challenging to do properly.  For fun I enjoy my home on Geist reservoir, fitness, surfing and being out on the water, landscaping, cooking and cycling.  I am a certified in many aspects of scuba diving and enjoy underwater photography.  Helicopter photography is my current passion and I intend on documenting the indianapolis skyline in a photo book in 2018.

  • We would cross Drakes Passage where the Southern Atlantic and Pacific collide. This pictures shows an usually calm day during our 10 day journey. On the return trip we would see waves and swells 8 meters high as reporting by the ship's staff.
